A new event for 2026, Les Songes Musicaux is coming to Northern France, and more specifically to the town of Loos, bringing together exceptional musicians, most of them from the region, to showcase the richness and talent of the French Flanders area. This first edition presents a programme celebrating wind and brass instruments, echoing the region’s wind orchestras, true symbols of joy and conviviality.
The festival concerts will take place in several emblematic venues across the town of Loos. La Fileuse, the city’s vibrant cultural venue, will host two concerts in a warm and lively atmosphere. The new auditorium of the Conservatoire de Loos, inaugurated in 2025, will provide an ideal setting for chamber music performances. Finally, the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Church will resonate with the deep and moving sounds of Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem.
Through these various venues and the artists brought together for the occasion, Les Songes Musicaux – French Flanders invites audiences to enjoy a weekend dedicated to music, discovery, and conviviality, at the heart of a region rich in tradition and culture.
