New in 2026, Les Songes Musicaux is coming to Northern France, and more specifically to Loos, bringing together exceptional musicians—many of them from the region—to highlight the richness and talent of the French Flanders cultural landscape. This first edition presents a program that celebrates the expressive world of wind and brass instruments, echoing the strong tradition of regional wind orchestras, symbols of joy and conviviality.
The festival concerts will take place in several emblematic venues across the city of Loos. La Fileuse, a vibrant cultural space housed in a renovated former textile factory, will host two concerts in a lively and welcoming setting. The new auditorium of the Loos Conservatory, inaugurated in 2025, will provide an ideal setting for chamber music. Finally, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Church will resonate with the deep and moving sounds of Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem.
Through these venues and the artists brought together for the occasion, Les Songes Musicaux – French Flanders invites audiences to experience a weekend of music, discovery and conviviality in the heart of a region rich in cultural traditions.
