Léo Couralet, born in 2006, is currently studying at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris under the guidance of Gordan Nikolic and Frédéric Laroque. He has taken part in masterclasses with Rodica Bogdanas, Miriam Fried, Marc Danel, Alexis Galpérine, Boris Garlitsky, and Mihaela Martin, among others. In the summer of 2025, he was invited to the Festival de la Vézère, where he appeared in recital at the Chapelle du Saillant.
He is a laureate of several international competitions: First Prize of Excellence at the Marie Cantagrill International Violin Competition (2024); First Prize (soloist) and Audience Prize at the International Violin Competition of Cambrai (2023); First Prize at the Triomphe de l’Art International Music Competition in Belgium; Grand Prize at the FLAME Competition (2021); Gold Medal (Strings Junior) at the Manhattan International Music Competition (USA); Honor Prize at the France Music Competition; First Prize at the “Salzburg” Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition (Austria); and First Prize at the Leonid Kogan International Competition.
