Named “Instrumental Soloist Revelation” at the 2022 Victoires de la Musique, Manon Galy was born in Toulouse and began playing the violin at the age of seven.

Her studies took her from the Toulouse Conservatory to the Paris Conservatory, then from the Paris CNSMD to the Hochschule in Munich to study with Julia Fischer, as well as to the Philippe Jaroussky Academy and the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo, where she is currently in residence with the Zeliha Trio.

Manon is a prizewinner at numerous international competitions, including the 2021 Lyon International Chamber Music Competition—where she won First Prize and all the special prizes in the sonata category with pianist Jorge Gonzalez-Buajasan—the Jascha Heifetz International Competition in Vilnius (3rd Prize and Audience Prize), the Premio Trio di Trieste with the Zeliha Trio (2nd Prize), as well as the Ginette Neveu, Postacchini, and Marie Cantagrill competitions.

She is also a laureate of the Banque Populaire and Safran Foundations, as well as the AMOPA and the Charles Oulmont Foundation.

In 2022–2023, Manon was selected for the Euroradio Top Young Performers Series alongside artists such as Maria Dueñas, Jonathan Fournel, Maria Ioudenitch, and Zlatomir Fung.

Manon performs regularly as a soloist with various international orchestras: the chamber orchestras of Vienna, Salzburg, Lausanne, Toulouse, and Nouvelle-Aquitaine; the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse; the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire; the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic; the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra; the Bra?ov Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. She has collaborated with renowned conductors including Renaud Capuçon, Sacha Goetzel, Aziz Shokhakimov, Victorien Vanoosten, Gábor Takács-Nagy, Bertrand de Billy, David Molard-Soriano, and Simone Menezes.

In France and abroad, she is a regular guest at major festivals: La Roque d’Anthéron International Piano Festival, the Aix-en-Provence, Deauville, and Colmar Easter Festivals, the Rencontres Musicales d’Évian, La Chaise-Dieu Festival, Al-Bustan Festival (Lebanon), La Folle Journée in Nantes and Tokyo… She has performed in prestigious venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris, the Vienna Konzerthaus, La Seine Musicale, the Vilnius Philharmonic, and Kyoto’s ROHM Theatre.

Along the way, Manon has shared the stage with many distinguished artists, including Renaud Capuçon, Corina Belcea, the Modigliani and Hermès Quartets, François Salque, Marie Chilemme, Patrick Messina, Marie-Joseph Judde, Marc Coppey, the Arnold Trio, and Aurélien Pascal.

A devoted chamber musician, Manon founded the Zeliha Trio in 2018 with Jorge Gonzalez-Buajasan and Maxime Quennesson. Their first album, released in 2020 on the Mirare label, received widespread acclaim (5 Diapasons, 5 stars from Classica, Editor’s Choice in Gramophone), as did their latest album, released in May 2024, which earned 5 stars from Classica, “TTTT” from Télérama, and “Choix de Laure Mézan” in Pianiste magazine.

Nuits Parisiennes, released in February 2023 on the Aparté label and born of the duo she forms with pianist Jorge Gonzalez-Buajasan, won a Diapason d’Or of the Year, 5 stars from Classica, and “TTTT” from Télérama.

Manon is also a member of Ensemble K, a flexible-formation ensemble founded by Brazilian conductor Simone Menezes.

Manon has joined, both as a soloist and with the Zeliha Trio, the production company Beau Soir Productions, directed by Renaud Capuçon.
